Jos (Raymond Thiry) a former cocaine dealer gone straight, wakes up in bed with a man laying dead next to him and a gun by his side. He doesn't remember anything as he has a "blackout" of the recent past. He knows however that tomorrow he is supposed to get married to Caroline (Kim van Kooten). Her father Rudolf (Ursul de Geer) objects to the wedding. He is also the lawyer fro crime boss Charles (Edmond Classen).

Jos previously worked with Bobbie (Bas Keijzer) a muscle head and Inez (Renee Fokker) a street cocaine expert and walking human scale. Before Jos can disposed of the body he is picked up by a gay Russian mobster (Simon Armstrong) who wants to know where his 20 kilos of cocaine have gone. Likewise politically incorrect policeman Andre (Alex van Warmerdam) is on the case.

This is a low budget Dutch grindhouse with English subtitles. The plot develops levels of complexity as our main character attempts to get his hand on 20 kilos before his deadline, all the while Caroline is getting ready for their wedding. The film has elements of humor throughout. For instance two over-the-top hit-women discuss the lack of female mob boss role models in the movies.

Definitely worth watching for Dutch indie grindhouse fans.

Nicely paced, interesting plot that keeps your attention. I liked it. But there were few characters that engendered any sympathy from me, including the lead characters. There are lots in this genre and this is a solid 4 star.

Fans of Guy Ritchie's better early works will eat this up. "Black Out" is thematically similar without being derivative. I laughed so much that almost choked myself!

I did not see anywhere in the informaiton about the movie that it was subtitled. We watched for awhile and found it awkward and nonsensical
