I read ahead of time what this fan was made of, and to be honest, a paper one would have done just as well if not better. It is unique and pretty, but not very functional.

For a blatantly plastic fan, this is actually pretty good quality. Definitely worth what I paid for it. Very cute! Also retains scent very well, if you wish to add any. Durable, as well. However, keep in mind that the gold decoration bleeds slightly out of the molded design, so it's not exactly perfect.
