I have used many DVD cases from many different manufacturers, and this product is great.

First off, the clips that hold the discs in place have no play, they are brittle, and they snap off, which then makes them not securely hold the disc in place.

I also bought the six disc dvd case, it was perfect for storing my Harry Potter collection into one case or The Mummy, Spider Man, Lord of the Rings...

I have used many DVD cases from many different manufacturers, and this product is great. My old quad cases stacked 2 discs on top of each other on each side, so you couldn't see all four discs at once. This item overlaps the discs, so you can in fact see the 4 discs all at once.

Also, Cyberguys shipped out the order right away, and it was delivered in perfect shape on time. I will order more from them soon.

Bravo.

Most of the reviews that are NOT 5 star reviews are spot on correct.

I am capturing, editing, and making DVDs for customers, and bought 4 packages of these because the disc collection i am making spans 8 discs. There is NO way i would sell these (or even give them away).

First off, the clips that hold the discs in place have no play, they are brittle, and they snap off, which then makes them not securely hold the disc in place.

One reviewer mentioned that the clear plastic on the outside is like Saran (TM) wrap. This is accurate. They are so thin i was afraid they would split. Another reviewer mentioned that the spines are brittle and that they split. This is also accurate. If i needed these cases for myself i **might** tolerate the quality (and reinforce them with duct tape) as a way to reduce shelf space, but since i needed something of quality to pass on to customers, these do NOT cut it.

They are cheap, not only in price but in quality and the first one broke just from snapping in a disc.

If you wanna reduce space and don't care about quality, go for it (i guess), but if you expect anything REMOTELY like professional grade (multi-disc) cases of any remotely decent quality, you might as well quickly move along.

I have a bunch of 3 and 4 disc anime series that have the middle flap that always seem to arrive broken. So I needed something to hold the discs without them getting damaged from flopping around loose. These seemed to fit the bill , I can use them for the 3 and 4 disc sets and still use the original cover art. The only things I wish was better is the cover sleeve is really thin and the cases seem less sturdy , other than that I feel that they're a great way to protect your investment.

Think I spent more on shipping then the actual product... anyhow, I was happy with my purchase. I live in a condo so I dont really have alot of space for more storage shelves and what not; So I've been looking for ways to shrink DVD/CD space that I use and these work great to combine several titles into one. Ex: I have both Shrek 1 and 2, both came with bonus disc so this Quad Case was perfect to combine all four disc and I just kept the jacket of one title so I can still find the Shrek movies fine and saved space at the same time. I also bought the six disc dvd case, it was perfect for storing my Harry Potter collection into one case or The Mummy, Spider Man, Lord of the Rings...

These dvd cases are of very inferior quality. They break easily, and many arrived broken due to the sloppy way that they were packed. Also, the outer plastic (for inserting the dvd cover) is very thin and tears apart from the case easily. These are pure junk!

Extremely flimsy and not worth purchasing. The spines of two cases were split, the hubs that hold the discs lack sufficient strength to hold the disks (with the result that they flop and slide around inside the case) and the clear plastic cover is as thin as Saran Wrap. The first cover split open when I slid my finger underneath it in order to insert a paper cover. It's not worth the aggrevation to return them, but worth warning other propsective buyers away from them.

SUGGESTION: If you seriously need some 4-disc dvd cases and do not wish to return this item, BY ALL MEANS, bring out your 2-inch ducktape and reinforce the spines directly on the outside of the black plastic case. Pull out an inch or so more than you need, splip it in between the case and the clear vinyl, firm into place, and then trim off the excess at the top and bottom of the case. CAVEAT: If you do not seriously need 4-disc dvd cases, do not purcase this item. Of the five cases we received, three literally split apart before we could insert the 4 discs and ready them for the shelf. The remaining two cases showed clear light through the spine-hinges thus giving us the idea of reinforcing with ducktape before even beginning to use the cases. We have transferred many hundreds of DVDs from regular to slim cases and have never before experienced cases of such flimsy quality. We plan to keep a close eye on these cases to see how well they hold up with this ducktape rescue procedure. They might be fine? If so, we will be grateful to have these five 4-disc cases that actually hold four discs in the same width as one regular 9mm case and might even regret not having bought a few more.
RE-REVIEW SOME DAYS LATER: After reading the positive evaluations from other purchasers, it seems that perhaps only we and one other purchaser have had bad luck with this product. It does seem stange to us that all of our dvd cases turned out to be faulty, but that's how the cookie (and some dvd cases)crumbles sometimes. Hope we didn't lead anyone astray.
