Parsons' knowledge of the 1800s is unparalleled. Combined with her brilliant imagination and flair for creating living, breathing characters, she once again holds her readers spellbound and begging for more. I never thought I'd enjoy a romance story, but enjoyed other books by this author and thought I'd try this one. I wasn't sorry. Roxanne and Collin's story was intriguing and different than some time travels I've read. There was plenty of suspense and sizzling love scenes to keep me entertained and I even got misty eyed while reading the last chapter. I'll be watching for more from Ms. Parsons.

Highly recommended.

This book was about a girl who was so stupid that I quit reading the story. Sorry, but that's the truth. It was so obvious that she was walking into a trap that a kindergartner would have had a tough time believing that it wasn't.
