not bad,

I have to say this is a pretty good tomahawk for the money. It does not come very sharp but that is remedied by taking it to a professional and having it sharpened for $5. The balance is fairly good but I would prefer a little more weight to it. It has a mean little beard at the end of the main blade and a very good spike on the back side which can also be sharpened. If you are looking for a inexpensive tomahawk without sacrificing effectiveness it buy it.

Nice little hatchet,

I bought this to use as camping hatchet and not a throwing ax. It works well as a hatchet and is very durable. It holds a pretty good edge for quite some time and is easily sharpened like any other hatchet (ax). Now I did not buy it as a throwing ax, but... well... you know... I had to try it since it was advertised as such and it stuck on my first throw!!! Well, so the pointy handle stuck. I've never seriously tried to throw an ax and expect to stick it into a tree trunk before. I could probably learn this ax throwing thing given enough time, but I really don't need to learn how it is done. I have guns and crossbows that are much easier to master. It is still my camping hatchet and will remain just that.

The tomahawk is solid and strong. I destroyed the handle in the first 10 minutes. I re-wrapped using 550 cord and then taped with black athletic tape. Now its much better. I prefer this over my SOG tomahawk b/c this is one solid piece of steel, and I have broken my handle on my SOG b/c its of a 2 piece design. Definitely worth the money but you need to know how to wrap handles as this one will not last.

The Tomahawk was great. Although the only problem was the rope came off Could someone please tell me what a good thing I can but to replace the nylon rope that fell off?

this thing is a great thrower tho the spike isn't blade sharp or super pointy but it sticks non the less the blade has a real nice bevel to it and is razor sharp straight out of the box even if it wasn't razor sharp it would stick non the less way better then and 25 - 50 dollar throwing axsheath sucks only down side might as well throw the sheath away you have to insert the handle fir witch is difficult due to the cord wrap same with taking it out

I bought this for my boys. The handle is paracord and is on the low end. The steel seem to be a lower grade but the design is mean looking and my kids will like it!

the cord comes undone almost as soon as you get it but it comes pretty sharp already. the sheath is nice to. over all it just needs a new lace. and it comes with pre-built restringing holes witch is a really nice feature that some tomahawks on here for 50+ don't have i just bought 2 off thees and laced them with deerskin leather cord and now its just bad-ass.

Good fun throw.,

These hawks seemed to be the best value, so I tried them out. They are really fun to throw because they stick so many different ways. My boys love that. The cords came undone straight away, but I solved that by painting the cords black with black spray paint. These are a fun compromise.
