This cook book holder is absolutely useless. It does not hold regular books, hard cover or paperback, period. I had to fiddle with the silly thing to get it to hold my cook book so that the book would stay open, and when I finally got the book to stay open the stand is such that your book tilts toward you instead of away from you, so you have to bend down to see the words. This item is a waste of money, is not constructed properly and frustrating to use. It's inexpensive, but IT DOES NOT WORK. So, I wasted my money. Now I have to buy a better book holder. If you notice the picture of it shows it holding a ringed binder. Well ring binders stay open when you open them. Who needs a cook book holder for a book that is ring bound? Plus the picture is further deceiving because it does not show that the holder slants the book toward you, making it difficult to read. In the picture it appears that the book is slanted away from you, and that's just not true. Very deceiving picture. A holder should keep a regular bound book open, and this one does not.

If you're looking for a solid, heavy cookbook holder, this is not the one for you; but, if you need a basic cookbook holder at a good price, this is perfect. It will easily hold an average to small sized cookbook, but becomes a little unstable with large or heavy books.

Great product and looks beautiful on my counter. I was hoping for something that would hold up my paperback baking books but this is not it - still, very good for thicker hardbacks and compilation books (like church and school cookbooks).

This is a nice holder for a recipe, cookbook, etc. I use it to display a cookbook or a decorative trivet.

I think the design is very attractive and I set it up on my countertop with my most used cookbooks. The only thing that would maybe make it better would be if it allowed for the books to lean back a bit further for easier view of it. But, in essence, I love it!

I am very pleased with this Cookbook Holder. It works great with my cookbooks and looks good too.

This is a very cute, but simple cookbook holder. I had been looking for a black cookbook holder and found this one, but soon afterward saw one at Target that was a little sturdier and wish I would have purchased this instead. It seems to do the job of holding up cookbooks, but wish it was a little bigger.

I like to use this "cookbook holder" as a "lid holder". While I'm cooking I'll use it to hold lids from my hot pots and pans off the stove. Works great for this! I also have no problem using it to hold cookbooks, both hard cover and paperback.

I ordered this for my son's girlfriend. After we tried it out, I decided that I need one for myself! Small and compact so it's easy to store and it works to boot!

Got this as a gift for my daughter, she picked it out and was not disappointed. It was exactly the right size, not too big to leave out on the counter but small enough to fit in a drawer when she needs the coutner space. Arrived very quickly.
