I ordered this CD because I LOVE her other two releases ... and believe me, I wasn't disappointed. ZEMA drops sick beats, conscious lyrics, and entrances you with her voice. Although you can't hear a sample of the CD from this site, if you are a fan of original roots music, you will be as excited as I was when you listen to it. Unfortunately, I recently discovered ZEMA even though her debut CD was released in 1998. Somehow, she has gone virtually undiscovered in Hawaii and I'm not sure why. It's not due to a lack of talent because she is by far one of the best female reggae artists of all time! I recommend Black Sheep, as well as, her previous releases.

Zema produces classic, quality roots reggae. More than that these are positive reggae vibes destined to lift your spirit! This is a valuable addition to any reggae collection.

I heard "Freedom Dub (feat. Martin Luther King Jr.)" on Creation Steppin' in Dub and knew I had to buy the album. It's one thing to read Dr. King, another to hear him preach, and still another to hear him preach in DUB. A must have.

WOW!!THIS SISTREN IS VERY NICE.IF YOU KNOW OF THE MIDNITE CREW AND DEZARIE,AND YOU LIKE THEM THEN YOU SHOULD LIKE THIS TOO.VERY TIGHT ROOTS MUSIC,WITH VERY SENSUAL SINGING.I LOVE HEARING THINGS LIKE THIS FROM NEW ARTISTS LIKE MIDNITE AND DEZARIE AND S.O.J.A. AND GROUNDATION,ETC....THIS IS A VERY NICE ALBUM AND YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY SPECIAL ORDER IT IF YOU CAN AND THEN SHOW ALL YOUR FRIENDS.RAS JOSH
