Book Description

An erotic short story of 12,000 words or roughly 35 pages.

The story tells how I tried to seduce a young trainee lawyer in my office. It was very wrong of me. He’d recently split up with his girlfriend and was feeling a little low. He was not someone who could recover from a setback very easily. I felt sorry for him. He was gorgeous in a soft, boyish way. I fancied him like crazy but he would have been way out of his depth with me. I was twenty-eight. I liked hard, dirty, wicked men. Benedict was just a piece of fluff who blew across my path.

Still, a woman has her needs.

This story contains some very corrupting sexual scenes that are suitable only for adults.

This is my first sdbm book I've owned, and it was lovely. The story has a very tight grip on the reader and doesn't let go until you're done with it. Very recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vanessa has taken me on a journey I will never forget January 17, 2013

I am so glad I saw this story and purchased it. After reading the story I realized Benedict is so closely related to my life when I was very young. I too was shy and had plenty of opportunities to be with beautiful women, women that would even through themselves at me, but I did not see it since I was still in love with Maria. She did not love me or even cared. Vanessa truly had me hanging on every word how she describes the yearning and longing for Benedict while he still is pining over Miranda. I don't want to give away the story, but a must read for sure! I am a huge fan now of her work and look forward to reading more books by Vanessa Wu.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful January 13, 2012

Another beautiful story from Ms. Wu. The dialogue is so good here that I found myself re-reading some passages for the sheer pleasure of it.

The story follows the theme also present in some other works by this author: the gentle exploration of female and male sexuality, discovery of the joy of sex, looking for self through reflecting on the chance encounters. At least this is how I understood it.

I loved everything about it - from the stylish photo on the cover to every single word chosen with such care.

More About the Author

Vanessa Wu was born in Fuzhou, China, where her parents worked in the Communist Army Hospital.

She educated herself on a diet of foreign literature, some of it quite respectable, including nearly everything written by Jane Austen, W. Somerset Maugham, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

She graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai and travelled in Asia and Europe where she met many interesting men before completing her sexual and academic education at Westminster University, London.

She works for a law firm in London and lives close to Greenwich Park where she can often be seen talking to people with dogs. If she had a dog of her own it would be a Beagle and she would call him Billy.

If she writes enough stories and enough people buy them maybe she can give up working at that stuffy old law firm and stay at home with Billy instead, going for long walks in the park in the morning and having long, sensual daydreams in the afternoon.

Until then, she joins thousands of commuters every day on the Docklands Light Railway and spends many an idle hour anticipating her next erotic encounter.
