4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting collection of Christmas music December 14, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I first heard about Black Snow Vol.2 on Facebook. As a fan of industrial music, I knew I had to get this album especially since my new favorite band Psyborg Corp. does a cover of the classic "Angels We Have Heard on High". I was right. Black Snow Vol.2 was an interesting collection. I have to admit though the first three songs "Fragment 25" by Jabberwock, "Tanz den Weihnachtsmann" by Killed by Candy, and "Santa Baby" by ElectroXCentric was something to be left desired. "Fragment 25" sounded more punk rock than industrial. Same with "Tanz den Weihnachtsmann". "Santa Baby" sounded like something that Collide would do with its trip hop meets industrial sound. The quality in songs definitely gets better with Psyborg Corp's version of "Angels We Have Heard on High". It certainly isn't for everyone but those who dig the harsh sounds of aggrotech or terror EBM music. My personal favorite tracks (asides from the Psyborg Corp. track is Reliquary's "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" and Feindlug's (w/Sara Noxx) "The Impossible Dream". Tyske Ludder's "Weisse Weihnacht" is a lot of fun too with the harsh beats and vocals. Black Snow Vol.2 isn't for everyone nor is it perfect but it is a fun album especially for this fan of industrial music. I definitely recommend it for people who enjoy industrial music.

Track List:
01. Jabberwock - fragment 25
02. killedbycandy - Tanz den Weihnachtsmann
03. ElectroXcentric - Santa Baby
04. Psyborg Corp. - Angels we have Heard on High (Protoniced Version_
05. Tyske Ludder - Weisse Weihnacht
06. Digital Factor - Bloody Christmas
07. Nude - Silent Night
08. V2A - Christmas Day Virus
09. CeDigest - Antichristmas
10. Leaether Strip - It Happened On Christmas Day
11. Atomic Neon - Winter In My Heart
12. reliquary - Es ist ein Ros entsprungen
13. Feindflug feat. Sara Noxx - The Impossible Dream [Raachermannl Mixx]
