A real page turner!,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
This book is a real page-turner, I couldn't put it down! This book is much better written than the two books I have read previously (The Montauk Files and Montauk: The Alien Connection), and the research is thorough. Connections were made that dovetailed nicely with my own research. If you get nothing else from these books, *get it* that the world is much bigger and much more complex than it seems, and all is not as it appears to be. If you are wondering why the world today seems unfathomable by our own limited forms of understanding, it is because of the undercurrents that we are not made privy to by those who are in control. If you don't get that, it is certainly not because these writers didn't try...

I love this book,

This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
"The Black Sun is an adventure in consciousness that reveals a vast array of new information. From the German flying saucer program to the SS Mission into Tibet, we are led on a path that gives us the most insightful look ever into the Third Reich and the holy relics they sought in their ultimate quest: the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail." Highly recommendable reading for anyone who's interested about the occult, myths, nazism, revisionism, conspiracies, ufos, spiritualism, science fiction - even The X-files. Definitely the most striking, fascinating, comprehensive, open minded ---- book about the occult 'roots' of the 3rd Reich and much more.

One of the Best Books in the Montauk Series,

This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
"The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection" is one of my favorite books in the Montauk series. As with all of the Montauk books, this book is fairly wild at times and is enjoyable reading. The book covers numerous issues and references many books, yet pieces them together in a unique way. I found the information on the occult interest of the Nazis and the role Tibet supposedly played, to be of most interest. The book gets contains several photographs of supposed Nazi aircraft that look like UFOs. There are also several interesting illustrations throughout the book.

Fascinating Exploration of Occult & Nazis,
By
This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
Peter Moon has researched the Montauk Project at length and spoken with several people involved in the projects. In this book of the SkyBooks Montauk series, the author explores the Nazi connection to Montauk, the occult, and UFO technologies. There are a bizarre series of connections and synchronicities in the story, with as many questions raised as answers provided. Peter Moon is a talented storyteller of the strange and conspiratorial, and he has produced an intriguing book here. The title "Black Sun" refers to an occult sect and the beliefs related to it, including the idea of inner Earth civilizations. This book will be enjoyable for all those exploring the Montauk saga with an open mind.

Conspiracy theory at its best,
By Sawney Beane (Glasgow) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
This book is absolutely mental, it connects all sorts of conspiracy theories together U.F.O'S, Tibet ,Nazi Germany & the occult.I for one don't believe much in this book, but I couldn't put it down ,it was absolutely absorbing and thoroughly entertaining, the author must have written this book from a psychiatric ward. If you get the chance to read this book ,take it.

Fiction or reality?,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Black Sun: Montauk's Nazi-Tibetan Connection (Paperback)
I purchased this book because I was researching the connection between the Nazis and the occult. While some of the chapters of this book were interesting reading, I found the scholorship weak. The book shifts from recorded history to extreme speculations in the same paragraph, but does not give any logical support for the new conclusions. (except for some weak etymological arguments.) It did provide a good lead on some other books, and much of this book seems to be a rehashing of these books. Overall, this book serves better as ideas for X-Files episodes than any kind of actual history.

Interesting... but not to be taken seriously,

While you may find a few legitimate interesting facts and connections buried within Moon's work, be advised that to find them you will have dig through a multitude of almost ridiculous logical leaps that will make you wonder if Moon is a tad schizophrenic, actually believing the nonsense he espouses OR if his ludicrous jumps from one "splendid synchronicity" to another are just an attempt to fill the pages in order to make a buck. If you don't have the stomach for B.S... either read this in short doses, like I have, or don't read it at all...

Where you don't know where fantasy ends & reality begins...,

Peter Moon is at it again - giving Tibetans and those who defend their difficult plight - a bad name. The etymology is ludicrous - though as another reviewer pointed out, the books recommended are worthwhile. Moon does not seem to be able to realize that his readers are smart & coherent thinkers - seems he believes they need to be spoon-fed; but when reading this in conjunction with his other works, there's MUCH left to be desired as to what really did happen - real or otherwise. What he cannot document or back up, he makes up. The Tibetans are an ancient, wise culture - spiritually savy. Obviously, that old spiritual adage that one should not cast pearls before swine is quite true. The Tibetan heritage seems quite lost on this author.I give it 1 star for purely entertainment value
