One Of My Favorite Stories from the 50's and 60's,

I remembered Reading these Stories back in the early 60's. There is a seris of these tomes from back then. This guy really did know his stuff. PS a friend of his a Mr Smokey Yunick was very famous in the auto racing circles and much of the characters from these stories were taken from real life. Although I did not meet the author I did know Smokey and I can say that much of these stories were taken from real life. Dang these were great stories.dray

I first read this book in 7th grade, it was in the school library. I couldn't count the times i've read it since. I started looking for my own copies of the books (it's a series) and was fortunate to find some of them here at Amazon.
