great for the price,
Makes for a great cheap upgrade. I can shoot much further now then with the stock barrel and the balls fly straight. I added this and a red dot scope and can now snipe from far enough back that the other guys can't hit me. Love it!

Perfect barrel for my salvo,

I use this on my scenario-ball gun-- a project salvo. this barrel makes the gun look less like a toy and improves the accuracy dramatically, in my opinon. the field i play on (urban warzone, in Altoona, PA. best field ever, of all time.) is about 50 yards long. at one end is a small plexiglass viewing window where people can look in from outside the game. from the other side of the field, i saw my friend watching me through the window. i fired two shots. both would have hit him if he had actually been playing. but the coolest thing about this barrel is the self cleaning ability. when i practice in the field behind my house, i use really crappy paint from K-mart. i mean REALLY crappy paint. $5 for 2000 rds. i broke a ball in my barrel while playing against my friend. in my stock barrel, this meant i had about the effective accuracy of a shotgun. with this barrel, the next ball i fired cleaned out the broken paint. the following shots were as accurate as if i hadn't ever broken a ball. its a game-changing barrel.my final verdict? buy one.

I put this on my Project Salvo. Unfortunately, i don't see TOO much of a difference from the stock barrel. I am SURE there is a difference, obviously because of length and quality of the barrel, but dont think you'll be throwing headshots like it's your day job. Perhaps on another gun it may perform better. My shots are still kinda all over the place. Overall i think its a pretty good investment for $30, there is a difference - just not a large one. Grouping of shots are tighter, but again -- Very frustrating to not be able to hit someone when you're looking at them.

I needed something better then my 11' stock that was still a decent price. This was surly it. Real good barrel, and dont worry about it being ceramic. A lot of barrels are these days. This thing is still as sturdy as a rock. And the shipping was crazy fast! Wasnt expecting to be able to use it till the next week I went paintballing but I got this thing in like 2-3 days at standard shipping.

I can only compare this to the stock 98 Custom barrel, but what a difference. With good paint, I can place my shots at will. The barrel is ported, hence quieter than the stock barrel, great in woodsball. 14 inches is not as cumbersome or awkward as you might think, I still use this barrel on a very tight x ball field. Your grouping will be noticeably tighter, with improved range. 4 stars cause c'mon, it's no apex.

I just got my barrel today to replace my factory 8" on my carver. I use pretty cheap paintballs because all i do is woodsball. The first thing i did is roll a ball down the barrel, or at least tried to. The cheap balls were so tight in the barrel that they spun like friggin crazy and were just god awful shots. I then tried some higher quality competition balls and they shot really great. Kind of a bummer because I really dont like blowing money on good paint but whatever I guess. Also, the barrel, when screwed in all the way and tight, still moves around with barely a bump...not what I was looking for

Great barrel for the price,
This barrel is a nice upgrade expecially for the price. It increased my accuracy greatly. I was consistantly hitting a 12" diameter tree at 50 yards. It also is a bit quiter than the stock barrel. Some people might think that this being a ceramic barrel it would break easily, but it is very durable. I play primarily in thick woods and have not had any problems with it scraching or chipping at all. If you are looking for a good quality barrel at a low price this is it.
