I purchased this knife as a pure impulse buy, for $10 it is well worth the price. One thing that anyone who buys this knife absolutely MUST keep in mind, is that this IS NOT something for casual carry. This knife is huge compared to a Gerber Powerframe, and is more than likely to get you ARRESTED if drawn in public.
Overall the knife is fairly well built, the blade is of acceptable quality steel, though this is by no means a serious knife. Upon arrival there was a noticeable nick in the sharpened edge of the blade towards the hinge. The handle of the knife is made of Aluminum, that being said the white sections of the handle are nothing more than cheap plastic, and the handle has absolutely no weight to it at all. The blade itself is fairly sharp upon arrival though it would be a good idea to sharpen it before any moderate use as it takes a fair amount of force to cut even simple tie line. Bottom line, this is fun in your own home, but it is useless as a serious knife.

So, this knife isn't for everyone. It's bigger than I expected, not really a casual carry knife. It is very stylish, and any one that sees you open it will want to take a look - it's that unique. Strong blade, sharp edge, a sturdy tool to keep in the shop, at your desk, in your camping box or car. A great value at the prices I've seen it offered at here!

it may be very flashy, but I would definitely not be one to carry it with me. the blade is much larger than expected, and is nearly the length of the handle itself. the handle is not made of plastic as some of the others said, only the white ridged part on the back of the handle. the rest is some sort of metallic substance which i could care less to research. it does come very sharp(i dropped it a few times on my hand, it did a number on my wrist)and my blade didn't close when i swung it violently. but all in all, I read the reviews and got it. I was definitely satisfied.

The blade looks cool, and mine was not damaged aside from scratched paint and nicks in the handle. It is quite lightweight, but that's probably because it's not very durable. It has a very bad weight balance, so if you swing it and it didn't lock properly, the blade may swing forward towards the closed position and you are at risk of cutting your fingers. On that note, the blade does indeed ship quite sharp, which I learned the hard way.
Would not carry as a weapon, it's violent-looking and will probable upset the police while also being not quite up to my standards in a weapon. Neat as a display piece though.

This is a great decoration knife, but let it be know this beast is not a pocket knife. It's much too large to be a pocket knife. It's mostly made of plastic in areas, though the blade is in good condition and quite sharp. It's ok, great gift, but not a high quality piece.

To begin, I am a knife collector. I have an unfortunate addiction that leads me to a new knife every month. I was attracted to this blade due to it's "Fantasy" design and size. I'm a larger guy, who prefers a oversized blade. The second I took this knife out of the box I was immediately dissapointed. Via the information provided I knew there was an aluminum handle but I hadn't expected something of this quality. Beyond it's weight it felt as though it was cheaply painted plastic. I over looked this quality though, and initiated my opening of the blade. The blade instantly snapped off from the handle. I was so annoyed by this, considering I had just sent almost fifteen dollars on this knife. Further observation lead me to find that the screws in mine were plastic, not metal. While this may be a manufacturer issue it does not out weigh the fact that overall, it feels like an big, cheap knife.

I would have to say I was very pleased with my purchase of this knife. Although there are a couple of things that were surprising or that I didn't care for. First off, like other reviews have said this knife is quite a lot larger than I thought it would be. So this definitely would not be a knife you would want to carry around in your pocket, in my opinion. I'm mean it's bad enough with some small knives that a cop might hassle you over but with the size of this they would definitely give you trouble.
But besides that it's a wonderful well crafted blade. I wish the handle wasn't made of mainly plastic because it just feels so brittle to me. Like if I were to drop it it would break. The sharpness of the blade itself isn't bad, I've seen a lot worse, and it seems to retain it's sharpness which is a big plus in my book. And, the curve of the blade is quite ideal for cutting or ripping at something. And as far as a self defense tool, I would rate it quite highly. It's good for a traditional grip as well as upside down backwards grip. The size of would also be quite intimidating to any would be attacker. Of course never use a knife to harm someone unless absolutely have to. But always run away first and call the police if you are in danger. So I highly recommend this knife for professional use, protection and it would make a nice gift. But like I said before you carry it out in public be aware of your local laws first.

This knife is everything you would expect from a $3.34 knife. It is made from cheap materials and the construction is somewhat ragged, and some of the handle edges can be a little sharp and uncomfortable, but let's get real; you are not going to buy this knife because you are looking for your next great utility tool. This is strictly a show piece and from that standpoint it is a really unique design, which is why I bought it. You will get what you pay for, and for $3.34 it's a cool knife for display.
