This is one of the best values in wire crates today. Compare this crate to the competition and you will see that it is the better buy. It is a folding crate so no assembly is required. Most other crates this size are drop pin construction and require assembly. It comes with a metal pan. Many competitive crates this size do not come with a pan at all of if they do include a pan it is a plastic pan that is especially prone to break with heavy dogs. This crate has a three doors, one on the front, one on the side, and one on top. With doors on the front and side you can orient the crate in the room as you please so it does not stick out so far into your room. The top door allows you to get to your pet without having it try to get out. It is available in black and pink. Please note that the $50.00 shipping charge is due to the fact that this crate is considered an oversize shipment by both FedEx and UPS and has an oversize surcharge that is a part of the shipping charge. I have a Great Dane puppy who at 9 months old is 35 inches at front shoulder and 133 pounds. He has been crate trained since 8 weeks so he is used to being crated. This has been an excellent purchase. It arrived quickly, was in good condition on arrival. A minor bend in the metal tray was easily bent back with little efford, it was easy to set up and he loves it. He can lay down comfortably and has room to grow. The metal is not as heavy duty as other crates I have bought so if you are just beginning crate training or if you expect your dog to try to escape, I may recommend going with a heavier duty crate (ie more expensive) but if you have a crate trained dog that needs the room, this is a great find. It is an extra large crate so as expected, it is quite heavy, I do not tear it down and set back up unless absolutely necessary because it is something like 70lb which is too much for me to lift myself. However, it is easy to disassemble and reassemble so if you have a large enough car and muscles you could use this as a travel crate for a giant breed dog. Cheers! Sara and Angus

I purchased this last minute after my Lab, Jake, had emergency surgery earlier this week. Does the job but rusting
Rust spots hear and there before the year ends. Keeps the 100lb baby happy though. The tray is loosing its color as well. It will need to be replaced next year I guess.
