I was a little scared before I bought the umbrella. I thought that because it had a gimmick such as lighting up that it would be cheaply made. I am super glad that I was wrong. The umbrella is just as good as other umbrellas of the same price, if not better. The light is fantastic and is really bright. It can stay solid color or it can pulsate. It opens and closes easily without fearing that you might break it while doing so. Got mine off of ThinkGeek, but this is the same model as I could see from the handle. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who is geeky and like Blade Runner, or even to people who have never seen the movie or don't like it. It is fun to see peoples reactions and have started a few good conversations with it.

It is kind of fun to walk at night as you will be seen by the glowing light. I was hoping that the light on the handle would be brighter so I could eliminate the flash light I carry for the evening dog walk, it is NOT.
