5.0 out of 5 stars These gloves are good on many levels...
...I have several pairs of these gloves now and I'm completely satisfied. I really like being able to run errands in the cold and grab things off of store shelves, write checks, sign papers, etc. without having to constantly take my gloves on and off. Plus, they are very comfortable.

The gloves are very poor quality, they are not even (one hand fingers are significant shorter), and treads sticking out in every finger). The picture shows nice, thick looking pair, these are very thin, it's a joke.
Do not buy from from Private Island. They provide tracking number that doesn't work, don't answer emails or phone, and they send item on the last day of expected delivery date. Wasted my time, I could get them from honest seller. The worst experience on Amazon.com ever.

UPDATE: Contacted by seller on Nov 9th asking to remove negative feedback so they will refund the money ($3.49)-unacceptable, you had your chance (and other buyers should know about sellers like that). Plus I bought nice pair of fingerless gloves at Petsmart for $1! Thicker and good quality, something I wanted in first place.

1.0 out of 5 stars Use them to hide kryptonite!, January 4, 2011

If you're looking to keep a handful of kryptonite away from Superman's prying eyes or build up your tolerance for lead in general, these are the gloves for you.

I was surprised to see a warning label on the bag the gloves came in that said "WARNING! This product contains lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm." Living in California, I see similar signs all over the place, but I'm not about to wear a pair of gloves that contain some unknown amount of a toxin. Had I known this before buying them, I wouldn't have wasted the money.

these are nice warm gloves that fit well, if you have big hands I would not recommend them, They are nice and soft as well not itchy like some others.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool and Warm, October 15, 2009

I am very happy. These gloves where just what I needed, they are warm and are a tightfit, a must for the winter season. They are a little feminine looking but it's not that big of a deal. For the price, these are just perfect, and the delivery through FEDEX was fast, though they did leave it in the mailbox instead of the front door so I found them 2 days later. I have Highly recommended this product to my friends.

4.0 out of 5 stars better than I thought, November 8, 2009

The gloves are good enough for the price. It's not too small like those magic gloves. Actually the material is heavy enough to keep my hands warm in late autumn in MN.

I was duped by someone else's review stating that these are much better than those cheap magic gloves. On the contrary - the packaging actually says "Magic Gloves". If you've ever worn Magic Gloves you know they are basically made for children and not appropriately sized for the vast majority of adult hands. Although they are reinforced at the fingers so they won't fray, they are still not worth the price. If you have "child hands" that fit into magic gloves, just buy them at the dollar store or someplace like that, and cut the fingers off yourself.
Update: The Vendor has lowered the price from $9.99 to $4.85. With free shipping I would say they are probably worth the price now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cold Hands? Fingerless Gloves Solve Problem, December 27, 2009
This review is from: Black Unisex Warm Half Finger Stretchy Knit Gloves (Apparel)
Use fingerless gloves if your hands are always cold yet you need to use your hands. My 99 year old mother in law wears fingerless gloves 24/7 and they are the only way she can keep her hands warm, even in a house that is 74 degrees warm. These gloves are acrylic which do the job. However, I also found her a cotton knit set and a cashmere set on ebay. As natural fibers, they are even better for warmth than these synthetic acrylic ones.

I got these to wear in my 63 degree office while I'm working at the computer. They keep my hands much warmer but do not restrict or crowd my fingers, so I can still keep my pace typing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a cold office, January 2, 2011

I am a professional word processor and when the office gets too cold the hands are the first to go. I tried "arthritis" gloves but they just didn't do the trick. These are perfect. They look nice and keep the hands warm while the finger tips are clear for the typing.
