Not only is Dennis Miller extremely intelligent, but he is utterly hilarious in this stand-up video. He relates his jokes to obscure references that hit his point home. The laughs never stop. A+

Dennis Miller has great pop reference analogies and sometimes dark humor. Many great bits and observations, but his bit on "he's so cute stories" (where the wife will, regarding the most intimate details of her private life with her husband, share them with "a woman that she met at a macrame seminar") is rolling-on-the-floor hysterical. Contains explicit language and probably not meant for the easily offended or opinionated.

A rare compendium of absolute hilarity. I cannot say enough about this video tape. I know of few people who could keep straight faces if they were shown his skit on stewardesses and their crankiness. Now we can see Black and White for what it was historically; one of the earliest frontal assaults on political correctness. We should be most grateful to Dennis for taking a stand against all things trite and moronic at such an early time (in the late eighties).

Then I watched Black & White. It is a little less polished. But of course it is also live. Probably more shocking in 1992. It is edgy but less so. Dated but still relevant. The obscure references are beauties & had me rewinding the tape. I'm a little dim. Very funny stuff. We may all be going to hell for laughing at God. But with Dennis Miller there, it'll be a funnier place. Worth a rental for sure.
