Symphonic black metal!!!,

This review is from: Black Wings of Destiny (Audio CD)
I like this album over other bands that got the same style, is that simple. Dragonlord is a band of many veterans like Eric Peterson (Testament), and Steve Smith, so this guys know what they doing. This is Black metal in the vein of Dimmu Borgir, no more no less!!. So if you're into Dimmu, Cradle and Agathodaimon, try this!!!

Why Dosen't anyone notice the similarity to Emperor?,
This review is from: Black Wings of Destiny (Audio CD)
This is the first Black Metal album I've bought in a long time now. I heard it and just couldn't resist. I'm pretty skeptical of any fresh BM acts out there because they usually just can't cut it as far as speed and brutality go. These guys nail it. I don't think I've heard a BM album this good since the last Emperor record. Comparing Dragonlord with inferior musicians like "Cradle of Filth" just dosen't do this album justice. This is Black Metal the way it was meant to be played, none of that wimpy melody-without-the-edge stuff. If you dig Emperor, Satirycon, and Old Man's Child, buy this album.

soundtrack to your worst nightmares,
By
This review is from: Black Wings of Destiny (Audio CD)
What really separates this group from the rest of the death and black metal bands out there is their ominous and haunting keyboard tones. They add just the right amount of contrast to the ferocious vocals and monster riffs. I'll forgive the utterly cliché album title. This disc is the soundtrack to your worst nightmares
