I ordered this item over the cheaper counterparts on Amazon because it specifically said "1.5m" -- It's nice that the ones I actually got have "1.0m" plastered across the packaging, thus completely negating any reason I had for choosing this vendor.

If you are buying this cable for its 1.5m length, then keep looking. This company advertises a 1.5m cable but will actually send you a 1m cable. Very disappointing. I contacted them, asking for the correct length cable. They were prompt and fair in their response...

"We apologize for sending you incorrect item. It appears we have incorrect SKU entered for this listing. Please use attached return label in pdf format to ship the item back to us for full refund."

To which i replied... "Do you have the 1.5 meter cable? I would prefer if you sent me that."

And they said... "Unfortunately we don't carry this item. We apologize for inconvenience."

Moral of the story is they are falsely advertising and you will not get the product you want.

I will say that the cable they sent me is exactly the same as the Blackberry issued one came with my phone. It works for both charging and transferring data. For that they still get 2 stars.

This cable is no where near 1.5 m long. I was looking for a cable that was longer than the standard issue OEM cable. This item IS the standard 40" cable, not 1.5M (59"). I already had one of these! Now I have two that I can't use! |oP

For the record, these aren't just for blackberry, they are for any phone or device that uses a USB Micro plug. I have been using these (One with each car) for charging my Moto Droid when it's in the car mount. They are still a bit long for my requirements but they work well as an inexpensive charge cable.

I almost forgot we do have a few of these running around at my company and they do work well as sync cables as well.

Should read 1.0m not 1.5m. I got the cable and it clearly showed (on the bag holding the cable)that it was 1.0m. I contacted the vendor to ask what to do and they told me to check with Blackberry on why they switched the cable on the vendor. If I were you I wouldn't touch this product or work with this vendor.

After reading all the reviews, I made sure I ordered it directly from Amazon (not fulfilled by any of the third party sellers which seem to be the problem). I had also previously ordered the 1m cable as well. This one is clearly the correct (longer) length and is great because I can use my older HTC chargers (from Hero and Touch Diamond) with this cable to charge my EVO faster than the blackberry charger does (the HTC chargers are 1A and the Blackberry one is .7A).

This is apparently a listing error by Amazon. They do happen and they can persist for some time.

The cable measures 33 inches long, that's not even 1 meter, much less than 1.5 meter.

I have no quarrel with the Amazon Marketplace vendor whom I bought from or Amazon. Mistakes happen.

However, if you need a 1.5m (65 inch) cable as I do, this just won't do.

Yes, the cable does work, but it is not what is described, what I ordered or what I thought I was getting. Thus, 1 star: the product described is not the product you get.

This is just a standard USB to MicroUSB cable. I bought it to use with my Motorola Droid and it works fine.

I use it to connect my Sprint phones to. Doesn't have to be Blackberry, fits the same, transfers data the same.
