I installed the faceplate, trackball, and keypad. Everything operated perfectly for a week and then the trackball began giving erratic inputs that had the cursor running all over the screen and not responding to my inputs. I would recommend that you think twice before ordering and installing this product.

Worked Great. Used this as part of the complete rebuild of the exterior of my 8300. ( Got damaged at the Glamis Dunes ) Highly recommended
It included a completely new Keypad and Trackball. I broke the plastic pry tool pretty quickly - my own fault. Searched 8300 repairs and found a number of both U-Tube and Wikpedia guided instructions sets available. I could now probably rebuid the complete assembly in 15 minutes although it was more than an hour and a half the first time. This kit also had a Tork T-10 but you will need at least a T-7 or others as well to complete the repair. I didn't have the T-7 so it took a while to come up with something to improvise the removal of these screws. |
