A small warning. This is a good little charger but with two not-insignificant shortcomings: any case/shell must be removed before your Storm can be charged and . . . ! . . . the unit does not come with its own adapter/power cord. Granted, I should've realized the former before I even bought this. It's clear from the photo that any protective gear must be wrestled off before your phone and charger can make the two-backed monster of love. But the LATTER? I was shocked to realize that a new CHARGER would not come with its own adapter and power cord. I'd expected to use this as a second, independent charging station at my office (so that I could leave my regular adapter/power cord at home). No such luck. I still need to carry around my regular adapter/power cord because without it, there's no way to plug this in. Granted, this charger still looks nice, and the price is great, but on its own its usefulness is rather limited . . . .

I'm an avid Amazon shopper. I knew what I wanted and that Amazon would have it at the price I could handle. I would recommend this cradle by BlackBerry for anyone who has the Storm 9500 or 9530. It's not only beautiful in appearance but the fact that you can view the phone as a desktop clock while it's sitting in the cradle charging is a great feature. You can always view your menu icons if the clock doesn't work for you. A must have for the Storm user.

The BB Storm changed the USB cord to a smaller size, meaning all of the legacy, and normal USB cords were useless. This charger is a great solution. It is easy to insert the BB into it, keeps the desk not cluttered. It even looks elegant.
