A small warning. This is a good little charger but with two not-insignificant shortcomings: any case/shell must be removed before your Storm can be charged and . . . ! . . . the unit does not come with its own adapter/power cord. Granted, I should've realized the former before I even bought this. It's clear from the photo that any protective gear must be wrestled off before your phone and charger can make the two-backed monster of love. But the LATTER? I was shocked to realize that a new CHARGER would not come with its own adapter and power cord. I'd expected to use this as a second, independent charging station at my office (so that I could leave my regular adapter/power cord at home). No such luck. I still need to carry around my regular adapter/power cord because without it, there's no way to plug this in. Granted, this charger still looks nice, and the price is great, but on its own its usefulness is rather limited . . . .

I'm an avid Amazon shopper. I knew what I wanted and that Amazon would have it at the price I could handle. I would recommend this cradle by BlackBerry for anyone who has the Storm 9500 or 9530. It's not only beautiful in appearance but the fact that you can view the phone as a desktop clock while it's sitting in the cradle charging is a great feature. You can always view your menu icons if the clock doesn't work for you. A must have for the Storm user.

The BB Storm changed the USB cord to a smaller size, meaning all of the legacy, and normal USB cords were useless. This charger is a great solution. It is easy to insert the BB into it, keeps the desk not cluttered. It even looks elegant.

Thanks to all the other reviews I already had the expectation that this cradle would not have it's own power supply. But this is a good looking cradle.

This unit is great, works well on my night stand. Phone goes to clock mode when placed in the holder, press the clock face, and enter bedside mode, no pings for incoming emails, and no phone calls. Listen to music, just love it

So I got this device for a friend. And it didn't work but this company was so nice and mediately contact me regarding the device. And have me a refund, I am sure going to give this company another chance

It arrived as described & very quickly. It is sometimes difficult to get the phone to sit in the dock, but this is a design issue, not a problem with this vendor.

I bought this stand for my husbands blackberry. He uses his phone as an alarm now . It is much easier for him to see the time displayed. Where as before it was just laying on his nighstand. I am a little disapointed that the phone doesn't fit in it with a case on. But he doesn't see any problems taking the case off every night. Other than that no issues.

Bought this for my nightstand and love it. And best of all, I wake in the morning to a fully charged phone ready to go. Also bought one for my wife but she uses in the kitchen and totally loves it.

I bought this charger in February of 2009 for use at the office. I wanted to be able to dock it while charging and syncing. This charger is GREAT!!

I ended up buying another one for home and use it with the power charger that came with my phone. This makes an instant alarm clock for me. So, my phone is charged every night while performing double duty as an alarm clock.

The only drawback I found is that it is a very tight fit for the phone, so you have to remove the skin (if you use one). I have had to purchase a few skins as pulling them on and off frequently caused me to snap a few. But I have learned how to be more careful with the skins. I love the desktop charger dock!!
