Beware! Even though Amazon specs say this is an OEM accessory and model number is the one of an OEM car charger, this is NOT an OEM car charger. It is a cheap (looking cheap, feeling cheap) no brand car charger, which could also damage your blackberry battery.

I emailed back and forth a few times customer care to resolve the issue, but it was useless and it was taking too long for them to reply, with standard replies, missing my point. I was getting upset and filing a claim (even for a few bucks; it's the principle of being victim of false advertising) when I called customer care by phone and they eventually shipped the OEM accessory an no extra cost.

The charger works just fine, but it does come slightly dislodged from the cigarette lighter sometimes. It's not snug fit. So you have to make sure that it's actually charging/push it all the way in when you plug in your device.

If you depend a lot on your blackberry and are on the road often, this is a necessity! Simple and inexpensive, just plug it in and charge your phone while driving, SIMPLE. Recommended.

Despite the product description saying it would fit my phone, a Blackberry Curve 9300, it did not. The cost to ship it back is nearly the same as just buying a new one, so I threw it out. I wouldn't buy another one online without being able to try it.

First time I needed to use this item was on a long road trip...my blackberry was dead..needed to talk to my folks. I pull out my brand new car charger, plug it in, blue light comes on, and...nothing. Worthless piece of junk had me thinking my Blackberry had bricked. Left plugged in for 30 minutes, no charge whatsoever. As soon as I got home and plugged my phone into the wall with my OEM wall charger, everything worked fine.

Look elsewhere. This was junk.

I have gone without a micro-USB phone charger because I was sent the wrong one.

It says in packaging it is an authentic BB charger, but I doubt it.

Also, it did not plug into my BB curve as it stated it would in description. This is a mini USB on the plug end.

Use extreme caution.

Here is what I am going to do:

Go to Wal-Mart and buy the lighter adapter that has 2 usb ports on it and plug the original charging wire into that.

Not much to say, I needed a car charger for my blackberry and didn't want to pay $20 to TMobile for the thing. This thing was less than half the cost. It arrived when promised and it's just what I needed.

I paid $7 for this charger shipped and was totally worth it. It may not be an OEM charger but it does a good job of charging my Blackberry Bold. The picture in the listing looks exactly like the charger I received. The connection on the phone and in the cigarette lighter were both solid.

Item works fine, although I wish it charged a little bit more quickly. I couldn't go without this charger though, I am a texter, downloader, and facebooker on my phone, and my battery is always low.
