The condition of the item is marked as new but the battery they sent me was dirty and all scratched up. Clearly an old used battery. Nothing makes me more upset than a dishonest vendor like the OEM shop. I sent them an email demanding that they fix this so i will update when this is settled.
UPDATE: after contacting the seller they sent me out another battery and although it was newer than the first one it was used as well. i dont know what else to say except that both batteries worked but neither was new as claimed.

I definitely received a new battery. It holds a charge much longer than the year-old battery that I replaced with it.

The battery life on this is not the same as a new OEM battery. Talk time is 3-4 hours.

The battery lasted only about an hour to an hour and a half when fully charged and the phone was in the locked position, not being used. I received a call once with about three bars left and I only got in about a minute and a half of talk time before the battery died completely. Rip off.

The battery drained on the first use!!!! It is NOT working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It shows 80% full battery, then although being charge, it was drained in 10 minutes!!! right on the first use!!!!!

Shame on this company!!! CHEATING!!!!!!!

This battery was nearly useless. It started to fail almost immediately, and after 2 months, after charging all night, the battery dies after about 8 hours. And this is without the wi-fi or bluetooth or GPS connections enabled. It's supposed to be OEM, but this is really hard to believe. This is an unacceptable, inferior product.

Fake Fake Fake Fake Fake.... Fake ... Sorry I am asking people not to buy this Item it is Fake.... In American thats called copyright infringement Amazon should really check this out.

The purchase I made was mailed short of postage by $1.27 and there was no paperwork included.

Putting 44 cents postage on a manila envelope is nothing short of stupid.

I received this battery and immediately put it into my blackberry and charged it, but after a couple of hours plugged in when I unhooked it my phone immediately died. It holds no charge. And I haven't had time to get around and ship it back as I was on vacation and work over full time, so now they are saying they won't refund it... Bad service....... Hope this review gets some attention.

I bought this for my Blackberry 8520 after the original battery would drain completely after just 5 or 6 hours of being in standby mode. Afterwards I realised that it was a Facebook app issue. I still kept this replacement in the phone because it lasts a couple hours more than the original battery. I bought this when it was $11us so as you can see the price dropped quite a bit. At the time it definitely seemed to be new. I got no indication that made me think otherwise. This was 5 months ago. I don't know if the standards have dropped since then.
