I will always own a Blackberry,
This review is from: BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Phone, Oyster Pink (AT&T) (Wireless Phone)
I got my first BB 2 yrs ago (8800 series) and absolutely love it, never had any problems with it even to this day. Since my contract was up for renewal, I opted for the Pearl 8110 in Pink (or also called Pink Henna). It is cosmetically pleasing to the eyes (very girly), as well as easy to use. The QWERTY keyboard takes some getting use to but once you get the hang of it you'll love it (only thing that I have a hard time with is since it is a QWERTY keyboard, you cant figure out phone numbers that are spelled out, for example: 1800GoFedex - unless you know the numbers your unlikely to figure it out on this phone).
You will need a micro SD card otherwise you would only be able to hold about 10 pictures (comes with a 64mb internal memory) and if I'm not mistaken, you wont be able to use the video recording feature at all without an SD card. If your going to use this for e-mail & internet usage ... get a data plan (starts at $30 per month) otherwise your gonna play 0.01 cent per kilobyte = big bucks! You can have a basic SMS & MMS through AT&T for $30 per month additional (Family unlimited text plan) & this will work for your BB without a data plan needed. Another great plus is that if you need to set your alarm & don't want your phone "on", you can turn it off & at the time your alarm is set for it will turn itself back on for the alarm to work. Also, something you might find interesting (since it's not mentioned anywhere) is that when you get your BB, it also comes with a "Leather Blackberry pocket" with the censer that saves your battery & prevents accidental dialing. This pocket does NOT have a top flap nor a belt clip ... its only a pocket (which is nice if your keeping it on your desk, inside you purse or maybe jean back pocket). I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a smart-phone that is dependable, easy to use & really cute. I will always own a Blackberry - They are well worth their money & something you can depend on!

I bought this phone after having the LG Shine (which I wasn't impressed with) for a few months. Not only did I like the idea of the full keyboard, but the phone itself seemed like something worth my investment. I absolutely love this phone. I now understand why people have always raved about Blackberry products. A nice added bonus is the beautiful henna design on the back and bottom of the phone. One problem I'll have from time to time is the "pearl" getting stuck and refusing to roll downward. But it usually sorts itself out. I get lots of compliments on my phone and it definitely serves me well.

I recently purchased the Blackberry Pearl, and am delighted with it. It is easy to use, versatile, and best of all small and elegant and fits nicely into a purse.
I did have an issue with teh address book freezing up. Apparently it is a known issue, and it was recommended that I take out the battery and then plug it in again. This worked.

I've had this phone for a good half a year at least. Amazon shipped it so fast!
It was a bit troubling to get used to the small keyboard and the double letters per button. The sound quality for MP3's are great! Camera is decent but not the best. It has great features you'd expect from a Blackberry. The down side is the start up takes forever. So if for some reason you have to turn it off or take out the battery it takes a good few minutes to start back up. My phone also freezes when I text too fast. Nothing major just need to wait for it to catch back up. The housing for the phone is the cutest! When I saw it I thought they made the phone just for me!!

I love this phone! I got it yesterday, and absolutly fell in love with it! The phone is very easy to use, but you have to get used to the keyboard. I love how fast the internet is, it takes clear pictures, and the design on the back is to die for! By far THE best phone I've ever owned!

I got my Blackberry because my cell phone and my Palm TX was stolen. At first, I wasn't happy with it because I didn't have the same information that my Palm had. (The Pre wasn't out yet which is why I switched.) I have now had it for three months and aside from sometimes thinking the battery life is too short am quite happy with it.
My carrier is ATT and I have had the data service so I was able to Twitter and check my gmail on my Blackberry. At first I had a hard time doing any texting on it because I thought the keys were too small. However, I have figured it out. So add a learning curve if you plan on using it and you are over 40. I prefer to keep my calendar and contacts through yahoo since I don't use Outlook on either of my home computers. I can synch it easily with both my laptop and desktop. I use it to play MP3's when I walk. I did lose the earbuds, but since I've lost about three pair with my old MP3 player, it's no big deal. It has one advantage no other phone has. My husband thinks the number keys are too small so he doesn't borrow it. If you have big fingers you might want to think about that. And finally, I love the pink. It's not bubble gum pink or a hot pink. It is a pretty metallic pink. I like the beige and pink pattern on the back.

Great phone..wish it wasn't so easy to hit the 'PTT' button but an 89 cent clear plastic cover from Accessory One stopped that(though I wish it covered the screen on the phone-the part most vulnerable to damage???.

The phone was free w/ at&t contract. Good phone. Time display w/o opening phone is useless. You have to open the phone to get it to come on. Hmmm! Can't just hit a button to check voicemail. You have to dial your voicemail # w/ area code. I guess that is an at&t deal though. Phone is rugged. Keeps dust out. I have a lawn service and specifically needed it to be durable. I feel like I got that. Hence the 4 star rating. Went to both an authorized at&t dealer as well as my local at&t store. Neither would give me the phone for free. Found offer on Amazon. Wanted to go rub it in at&t sales reps face but didn't. Go Amazon.
