I didn't think I would need a skin, but after just a few days the back of my 8800 had 2 scratches. I decided to try a skin for the first time. The skin fits great and has 'Blackberry' etched in the back. I really love the almost silky feel of the rubber, it makes the skin feel like it costs more than $10 and looks better too.

I agree with another reviewer; The fit is snug if you use the skin along with the original holster. It makes it a little tougher to slide in and out.

Fits good, looks good. Don't mind keeping my 8820 in my pocket now without carrying another case. If there is a negative it's a little slick and ain't going to help much if you drop it.

Same product that a friend bought from the Verizon Wireless store, but for half the price (including shipping costs). Still fits inside the holster, just a little snug. Too bad I didn't get it before the first time that my bberry dropped on the floor.

After reading another reviewer who recommended a skin for anyone who purchases a new BlackBerry, I bought one even before my BlackBerry had arrived.

After dropping my BlackBerry on the pavement, I had a small moment of panic, until I picked it up to discover the thin silicone slip cover had saved it from any scratches (or damage of any kind).

Highly recommended product.

The skin can be a very welcome accessory for those who keep their Blackberries mostly on their desks or maybe in their pockets.

I agree that it 'fits like a glove'. The skin feels very good to the touch - it almost sticks to your grip when you hold the Blackberry in your hand - and it's perfectly cut to allow for the various ports and buttons to be accessed.

The main and only inconvenience with this potentially useful add-on is that it makes it difficult to take the Blackberry in and out of the holster because it makes it thicker and because the skin tends to stick to the holster's own protective walls and I have to apply some extra force to pull it out. Since the default place for my Blackberry is IN the holster, this is important to me. I've had my Blackberry protected this way for the past week or so but I am still not sure if I'm going to keep it.

The Blackberry still fits in the holster with this case. It's a tight fit, but I like that I dont have to remove the skin to put the unit back in the holster.

This is a great product to protect the finish around the blackberry. It also raises the thickness a little to ensure the screen doesn't get scratched up!

Product is advertised. Shipped quickly, fits the 8800 very well with easy access to all buttons.

Only wish it came w/ a screen protector.

The skin fits great and does a great job protecting the Blackberry from scratches. My only complaint is that the skin stretches very easily and often pops off as take it in and out of my pocket. Other than that, it does it's job well.
