Great product and an even better price!, February 25, 2010
This review is from: Blackhawk Inside Pocket Holster (Misc.)
I bought the size one "small semi auto .22-.25" caliber holster for my Ruger LCP. It is the perfect size and fits great in my pocket. I also did a very common mod to it. By cutting the stitches that hold the upper portion of the little tab, it creates a large enough opening to use the tab as a magazine holder. When you do this, it gives it more of a "wallet" appearance and cuts down even more of the printing allowing you to wear jeans and a t-shirt without anybody giving you a second look. With the LCP and extra magazine in place, it's only about 1.5" longer than a typical bi-fold wallet and it's the same width.
The "sticky" band around the holster does it's job and allows you to pull out the firearm leaving the holster behind.
The only downside to this product is that it's very easy to forget that you're carrying when paired with a lightweight firearm like the LCP, but is that really a problem? I think not.
Buy this item! Heck, at this price buy two!

Great design and value, May 1, 2010
This review is from: Blackhawk Inside Pocket Holster (Misc.)
Size 1 work's well with my Ruger .380 LCP. The pistol pulls cleanly even out of blue jeans front pockets. Does what I want it to do. Keeps my pistol from floating and pointing around in all directions. And, now people aren't gonna wonder if that's a gun in my pocket or if i'm just happy to see them or worse.
I did look forward to being able to do the mod to allow the holster to hold a spare clip. I don't recommend it for the size one holster. I know another review here says it can be done and I've seen videos online showing the same thing. But, when I did it, it took a great deal of effort to jam the clip in the little pocket. The magazine then takes up the area where your fingers are supposed to grab to pull the pistol from your pocket. This leaves the trigger area the most convenient place to pull from. I'm not comfortable doing that with a round in the chamber.
I say use it the way it was designed and find another way to carry spare clips.

Utulized for concealed carry with Ruger LCP 380, January 18, 2011
The perfect holster for a front pocket carry with a Ruger LCP 380. I also did the extra mag mod for this by cutting the side a bit. This allows you to carry an extra mag with the holster as well. Additionally the extra magazine squares up the footprint and resembles more of a wallet appearance in your pocket. The textured strap helps keep the holster in place while allowing you to recover the pistol with ease.
