This product is poorly thought out, even if it would have worked. Mine would not charge a battery OR the phone out of the box. If I use my own A/C mini USB connector, the LEDs light up, but still nothing works. No directions at all by the way.

This is not a cradle, but more of a "resting place" for your phone. To charge, there is a separate little cable that you have to connect to the mini USB port. Doesn't seem very convenient. The battery charge is easy to get to, and easy to place the battery in and get it out. If only it had worked :-)

I don't know about you, but I charge my phone at night, in my bedroom. The LEDs (there are two, blue and amber) are like giant beacons. If I used the product, I'd have a choice between sleep and charging my phone. All in all, the worst purchase experience I've ever had on Amazon in over 10 years (through AccessoryOne).

This is a terrible charger. The reason I bought this charger in the first place was to use it to charge my battery after the USB port was damaged on my phone. This charger does not work properly! The external battery charger does not work. It arrived without directions.

As you can see, the device is described as a USB charger. This charges the phone, but not the extra battery. The included AC charger is required to charge the extra battery. However, you cannot use both at the same time. So if you want to sychronize, you must unplug the AC charger and (according to the instructions ) use ONLY the USB cable that came with the device. An annoyance that shouldn't be. Anyway, the rating stars don't seem to stick, but I would give this device 4 stars as it also provides additional protection from inadvertantly knocking the phone out of the OEM 'cradles' and has a charged battery ready to go. If the cord switching could be fixed, this would be a 5 star device. OK, I got the stars to stick!!

this never worked from day one used both charge options sorry but thumbs down on this one folks not a winner

I purchased this for my boyfriend and it lasted 5 days. He had to take it apart and mcgeyver it with wire, solder, and thick rubberbands.

If your looking to charge your phone with an extra battery, this should work fine. Its not anything serious and it has no weight to it, but it does the job as described.
