I bought this about the same time that I purchased my Bold. It's a rubbery silicone sleeve that is pretty well made and fits the phone pretty well. At first I thought it was great. It provides moderate protection of the chrome edge of the phone and gives you the confidence to be a little less delicate when setting the phone down on a table or desk. The problem is that over a relatively short time (in my case about 5 weeks), the silicone becomes more pliable and starts to stretch. This sounds innocent enough, but the net effect is that when you put the phone in your pocket or take it out, about 30-40% of the time, one side of the case comes off. This becomes very irritating when you are trying to answer a call and you first have to get the case put back on.

I am tossing mine and buying a case that is a little firmer than this one. On the plus side, it was cheap, so I'm not that upset about having to throw it out.

If you do not use your phone in the holster that comes in the package, this is an excellent accessory.

These skin cases are nice to have to put on the phone if you prefer a naked phone but want some protections for the finish. But that's all they will protect is the finish - not thick enough to offer any real protection.
