The block does a good job of securing the front wheel and providing a stable platform. However, it's not tall enough to level the road bike I've used hooked up to a Blackburn trainer. The only way to get a comfortable riding position is to stack a good thick phone directory underneath the stabilizer ... the older style, really thick and wide phone books work best.

I'm glad I got the Trak Block along with the Bicycle Trainer. They really should be sold together. Without it the bicycle is running downhill and it is very hard to stay on it.

After buying this I wish I had bought a heavier, more sturdy one. It works Ok on carpet or rug, but otherwise will slide all over the floor and come out from under the wheel at times.

This is a must have, clearly better than a phone book or 2x4. I'm not sure if there are cheaper ones out there (there probably are), but this one works great!

This is a good reasonably priced product but I have two complaints: First, it slides on hard surface floors a bit. It would help if they add rubber feet. However, there are six small holes on the bottom that you could add your own rubber stops to, which I may eventually do. Second, I was hoping that the channels for the wheels had 3 different widths. Narrow road wheels slosh around in the groove a little more than I'd like. Overall, this product offers a slight improvement in stability and levelness over a bare tire on the floor. It's worth the price, but not exactly essential.

This holds the front bike tire steady when using a trainer, and each side of the "triangle" is a different height, so you can better match the height your trainer raises your bike off the floor. Simple little tool, but it works better than using some spare wood or stacking books or what have you. Safer, too!

This is a very good bike stabilizer for the money. I can't complain at all. Well worth the money! I will recommend to anyone. I can either use a road bike or mountain bike on the block. There are also different heights which levels the bike by lifting the front of the bike. Nice price too!

I bought this to use with the Schwinn bike trainer. Good idea and works pretty well. The bike is stabilized at both ends and the front wheel doesn't want to steer while pedaling. Also levels out the bike a bit. Safety first!
