With many features, and a smart, user-friendly interface, the Blackburn Delphi Cyclometer 5.0 puts all your vital ride info at your fingertips. All of Blackburn's Delphi cyclometers include a large easy-to-read screen with four lines of data on each display, a speed display to 0.1 kph/mph and distance display to 0.01 kph/mph, and 11 of the most popular wheel sizes pre-programmed in. This Delphi cyclometer also includes two-bike settings with individual and combined odometers, and a 100-hour ride time or total time chronograph.

The Blackburn Delphi series of cyclometers all feature current, average and max speed, and trip and total distance displays. The Delphi 5.0 also features wireless speed and distance transmission with wired current, average and max cadence. Blackburn's Delphi 5.0 also features a 20-lap chronograph with real-time memory, a backlight, heart rate with three training zones, and real-time memory with average and max heart rate. Like all Delphi cyclometers, the 5.0 fits regular and oversized bars, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

This is my second Blackburn Delphi 5.0 Bicycle Cyclometer. I liked so much the first one which I purchased in summer 2006 that I got a second one. So far it has been easy to install, to use, and has been reliable. My only critique would be that the part that goes on the spoke could be improved, so that it would be more solid.

The Delphi 5.0 is an excellent overall cyclocomputer. I found that the heart rate monitor functions more reliably that the Polar that I replaced, and the cadence function is a nice addition (although the cord to the cadence sensor takes some pursuasion to string it to its destination on the chain stay). The indicator is VERY easy to read, and has plenty of functionality. I've used mine for about a year and have been quite pleased.

I've been using this for over a year, and overall am happy with it. One problem I need to warn about though, is that the unit is susceptible to sliding out of the holder while in use. You need to push on the center button to switch through "lap" settings, and if you don't push firmly, the lap doesn't start/stop. So if you push firmly without holding on to the bracket the computer is on, it will go flying off the front. That's happened to me a number of times now, while I'm trying to clock my time. Once you get into the habit of pressing the buttons while you secure the display with your thumb under the bracket, you're ok.
