A family member ordered these for me for my second deployment. Having used the issued nomex gloves and two pair of Hatch products, the tan version of this Blackhawk glove was superior. They have lasted for several years now and still retain their softness (while previous gloves became stiff due to all the sweat/salt, even after washing them). I do agree with a previous commenter though - it is important to know the size of the person you are buying for.

Great flight gloves, and for the price, unbeatable. Holds out MUCH better than hatch or the POS gov issue versions. Fits on your hands with almost no play, great for when you need gloves in high finger dexterity situations. They make awesome shooting gloves.

when i ordered these gloves, there was no size option. What i received was a small. since this was a Christmas present for my son, who is now serving in afghanistan, it was a great disapointment. He couldnt use the gloves, so he had to leave them behind. A right fit is important when you are driving a striker. I would not buy this product again.
