I've been looking for a quality cheek pad for a good amount of time and spent an equal amount of time researching the options based on quality, price, and function. I'm pleased to say that I was not disappointed with this purchase. First thing you'll notice when you open the package is the quality of the fabric, the stitching, and fitment. The cheek pad also has a zippered compartment where you can store additional ammo or your ballistic charts. My scope is mounted pretty low and this pad gives me just the right height for fast target aquisition. One nice thing about the velcro straps is that you can tuck the ends of the straps into the pad so that no strap ends are exposed. Overall, I would highly recommend this product but I would shop around based on the price - varies greatly depending where you purchase it.

I bought this item for a Remington 700. The quality of this pad is great.
It is very durable and does not slide or have movement on the rifle stock.
The small pocket accomodates my iPod which I have a ballistics calculator
on for extimating distance , windage, temperature, hunidity and etc.
The velcro straps hold tremendously taunt. The height of the pad does not
over raise my cheek but rather makes for a perfect allighnment for my eye
to the scope. I would recommend this cheeck pad to anyone who is wanting
to maintain a low profile on their rifle stock.The ammo holding straps / chambers
makes ammo conveniently accessable.
