I am a police officer and I love this holster. I can draw my holster 3 times faster then any traditional duty holster. I can never lock my self out of my own holster and when is holstered it makes it impossible for anyone to successfully take your weapon. I trust my life to this holster and I do it everyday. It has not let me down ever. Also this holster sits low which is great thing!! Its great because you don't have to tilt your hip in order to reach for.your weapon, its as if you were reaching into you pocket. That is one major.feature that helps you draw your weapon faster. Another feature is the thumb release, by pressing release with thumb you convert into level 2. In order to finally unholster you must press another release with index finger and.that will release weapon. Sounds like alot but you are able to fully unholster your weapon in less then a second. Its worth every penny, I recommend this to all officers.!!!

This is an awesome holster, best of the best. It looks good and fits my Beretta M9 perfectly, and it is very secured with the level 3 autolock. With a little of practice you can draw your gun fast and put it back even faster and it is automatically locked into level 2 once you re-holster it. I took out the retention screw and the little plastic piece inside the holster, I don't need the retention it is too tight to draw out for me, level 2 and level 3 autolocks is more than enough to hold the gun securely.

I had to replace my worn leather holster and was directed towards this brand. Glad to have made the switch. Very smooth draw and I love that the "hood" protects my sights from damage. No need to break in any leather straps, etc. The only thing I recommend is to practice with this one. After 18 years with my old duty holster, I am programmed to draw a different way (unsnap and tilt back) so when I think of it, I practice releasing and drawing my weapon (two release points and straight up). Since I bought this one, I have noticed many other officers with the same who say they like this better than the old ones. The bonus is the price, much less than the level 3 leather holster. I would definitely recommend it.

Serpa Level 3, great product. got it for a sig 226. It does what it says on the tin. Would recommend a medium level platform as the holster hangs too low. 5 stars

I purchased this from OpticsPlanet.com and it arrived suprisingly faster than my last order with them.

However, it appears that I may have been sold a REFURBISHED or USED holster. The plastic on the hood is coming off???

I have emailed them and received no reply.

I wouldn't tell anyone else to purchase from OpticsPlanet now. This is the second issue I've had with them, on my only two purchases from them!
