This is one of those movies i bought because i couldnt get it on netflix and i have a thing for conchita alonzo being the sexy vixen.i'll see almost anything she is in...at lease once.

Blackhearted is a pretty much a by the book crime thriller that ends with the appropriate people being done in at the approrpiate time.

Blackheart had its moments, but was mostly predictable. Maria Conchita Alonso did an excellent job. A much more interesting character than she has usually played. Richard Grieco also did well, but nothing spectacular. The other performances were adequate, but to be fair, the story didn't have enough going for it to allow the actors to do much but just go through the motions. Christopher Plummer's character added some levity that would have seemed awkward, but as the movie started to drag this performance became more appreciated. The movie grabbed me early with Maria's performance, but later the story became more routine and even Maria's character couldn't add enough interest to keep it exciting.

Buy this, for either one of two possible reasons. One if you had a crush on Richard Grieco, since "21 Jump Street", or have the hots for Maria Conchita Alonso. She seduced me from beginning to end. But for either actor, this film is not one of their best works, but I guess it pays the gas bill. Ray's character could've been stronger, instead of being putty in Annette's hands. Especially after she got him arrested, and should have had the gall to grab her gun after he punched her. But the worst part of the film was Loewi's character. She had as much charm and personality as a maple tree. She could have prevented Ray's death by putting the boots to Annette(during her weakest stage), instead of going into her secret hiding place. In the end, she got to keep all of her money. Only to give it all to the jumping magic bean salesman. Plummer's character was enjoyable as flat soda, Sam's character didn't belong in this film. What was her connection to Annette? That was inexplainable. Unless you're a die-hard fan of the main actors, skip it.

Una pelicula muy interesante, donde Maria Conchita Alonso interpreta a una villana. Muy bien caracterizada. Buena historia.

I just seen this movie and it plays out like a B type movie it has its moments. Being a big jumpstreet 21 fan, i do like Greigo and this might be his best featured role but then again, that is not saying much since his feature roles are so so, if u can call it feature. Anyway, this movie has suspense, and a overuse plot of playing the con game and double cross. There are better played and acted movie of the same subject than this piece because some of the acting is unbelieveable and i hate movies where the victim, played by fiona loewi as Laura has no backbone at all. I mean when she got out of that hiding spot cuz she didnt want Greigo to get shot, well he got shot and she just stand there watching it and whimping like a baby...then she run back into her hiding place. Well, couldnt she like kick Annette face or something useful in that situation to disarm her at her weakest state. Then near the end when Laura was about to get shot at by Annette but she run out of bullets, couldnt she run or fight her instead of crying, giving time for Annette to reload another cartridge to finish her off. She deserve to die for acting like that. If it was me, i would of kick the crap out of her for her wicked blackheart ways. The ending of the movie is sad but live goes on....

Oh yea, christopher plummer plays sherlock holmes wannabe, give me a break.
