Introductory blacksmithing textbook,

One of the first text books on blacksmithing. Covers the needed equipment and tools, moves on to working a coal fire, heating the material, and types of iron and steel.
Then how to cut and bend metal, forge welding, square corners, and making tongs. A bit dated as it was published almost 50 years ago. There are better text books now, i.e."The Skills of a Blacksmith", but you cannot beat the price. With a little work you should be able to download it for free by searching the title on Google. |
