There are humans on Eelong, called Gar, but they are one of the lower life-forms. In fact, on Eelong, humans are kept as pets. 5.0 out of 5 stars You did it, again, Mr. MacHale! Yes, you did., July 3, 2010
I read through this without putting down the book once! This book is one you will spend your whole night reading, without being able to close it. At least, that's what happened to me. It is a story that is full of much action that keeps you at the edge of your seat. I read through Black Water, biting my nails, until I stared disappointedly at the back cover of the book, unable to believe that it was over. I looooved it! A must-read book. Absolutely!

5.0 out of 5 stars Exilerating Fun, the Pendragon Series does not let down, October 20, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just resumed my work on this set of stories, read up until Black Water a few years ago, and finally got my kindle so I purchase Black Water. I was glad to see the same old style :), fast paced action, and strong friendships that I have became accustomed to. I would have to say my only complaint about this book on kindle is no Text-To-Speech function, which I am still trying to figure out why they would disable it in the first place, I am a limited vision customer, so maybe I am not getting an important point, either way I was very pleased about the quality of this book.

I found very few spelling errors, one kept popping up though: When they referred to Eelong *A fictional "territory" where the story takes place, a few times they referred to it as "Belong". The author is a brilliant one, this is a series I will read all the way through, and will love it on my kindle :)
