This is one of only three CD's I've ever owned where I've actually been overcome with emotion while listening to it. Unlike the others, however, Blackwood has been able to do that with each song. I've literally sat and cried while listening to some tracks, and felt a sort of overcoming inner peace with others. No other single piece of artistry has ever brought out so much of my own creativity, and sparked such imaginations as this CD. If you don't yet own this CD, and are even remotely interested in any sort of new age, trance, or ambient music: what are you waiting for?

Tia'a music is a joy and an inspiration. It brings out my creativity when I'm feeling artistically blocked and whisks me away to a land of unfettered dreams where anything I can imagine is possible. Blackwood is a unique blend of dark beauty and the quiet hope of an artist's passion. I encourage other artists and every music lover to share the magic of Blackwood!
