An awsome sword,
By
This review is from: Full Tang Blade Hunting Survival Machete Ninja Sword (Misc.)
This sword is amazing. I thought I was getting a piece of crap when I ordered it for twenty bucks. When it got here I was extremly surprised. It is a good solid piece of metal and is actually quite sharp. The full tang makes it a very tough sword. It also has a very good feel to it. My only complaint is the sheath. It sucks. It is left handed and has no back strap. The sword well makes up for it in every way.

Weeds or ninjas, this blade dispatches either with frightening efficiency!,

I know why you're here, you were searching the web asking yourself "where can I find a blade that can be used for hunting, survival, cutting down overgrown weeds, and fighting ninjas?" If you need a blade to handle all 4 of these absolutely essential uses, look no further!
This is the best hunting, survival, machete, ninja sword I have ever used! We all know many other hunting, survival, machete, ninja swords there are out there that aren't up to snuff. This is the one!

With the pricetag on this one, I was expecting a piece of junk but it has pretty good reviews so I took a chance. I was not disapponited. I would describe this as a semi-functional piece. You don't want to go out whacking trees with this but if you needed to hack through some brush this would suffice. I imagine it would work well for home defense if the guy has a knife or is unarmed and you can't get to your gun in time. It's pretty well made, it is one piece of steel so you won't have it falling apart on contact. For the money you can't really ask for a better piece, but Ramirez's sword from Highlander it is not.Don't go challenging people to sword fights and shouting that there can be only one. You'll have to spend a bit more for one of those.

I see how some reviews say that it can't cut through trees or whatever but it doesn't say that it will. For 20 dollars you can't expect to get a super sharp blade. It is a replica and is best for display or bragging to your friends. It looks great (even better than the picture) and is sharper than i expected. So its a great product

Just so nobody is confused, this is a machete not a scimitar. You aren't going to get a high quality sword for 30 bucks.
Weight: About 2.75 lbs. I don't have a precision scale for stuff this light. I did a hands on comparison to a 5lb bag of rice. That makes it a bit light for a machete of this size, but fairly heavy for a sword of this size. Length: The listing stat was a bit off for my blade. It is 24 1/2 inches. Not 24 3/4. That's bottom of hilt to blade tip. Actual blade length from the guard to tip is 17 3/4 inches. Materials: It's stamped 440 stainless steel. That's good for a working blade, or for a wall piece you don't want to clean. Hilt: Definitely full tang. However, this is another place where the listing is wrong. The handle is plastic, not wood. The corners are also rather sharp for a blade this size. I leather wrapped my hilt almost immediately. On the upside, it is long enough so moving your hand down the hilt gives you a reasonable increase in leverage. It's also just barely long enough for me to hold two handed. Balance: It's forward about 2 1/2 inches from the guard. To far forward for a scimitar, but much better then I was expecting from a machete. The blade came sharp. The backside from the tip to the funny notch on the back is knife edged, but not really sharp. The rest of the back of the blade is flat, like any other machete or 1 edged blade. As mentioned by another review, the sheath does come with a back strap. It is also a left handed sheath... wtf? If your going to actually carry this blade and you aren't left handed, I'd suggest you plan on making a new sheath. All in all, for 30 bucks, it's a very nice blade.

Just settleing things straight, i was expecting more of a fakie kinda knife when i bought this but when i actually got it i was surprised to learn it was infact an actuall machete...this is not a toy. the blade is REALLY sharp. onlt thing bad is the wood on the handle doesn't mesh with the metal design, kinda annoying

Its a fine sword,

The sword arrived on time and neatly packaged. The sheath includes a back strap and can also be attached to a hip holster or a belt. Its made of a nice material and is full tang as advertised. within the first week however, on of the small wooden coverings on the hilt came off. it was easily fixed and now works perfectly fine. The whole front of the blade is sharpened along with the very top on the back. The black paint on the blade itself doesnt come off easily at all.
Overall an excellent sword.

I bought this as a gift for my zombie-killing-obsessed husband, and he loves it. It arrived very nicely packaged and in a timely manner. The tip of the blade is sharp on both sides, which gives it an added oomph. The only thing I can see that bothers me is the handle: its hard and not very comfortable for long-term holding. Fellow zombie enthusiasts should consider adding some kind of material to make it more comfortable. Very easy to do if you have a few minutes of free time!

The handle broke the first day I got it. The black inlays just popped right out. I guess I have the pleasure to return it now,,,The blade seemed solid enough, but the "full tang" is crap if the handle falls apart........

I was surprised to find this well made and solid made, i was expecting this to be flimsy because of the price. It took me about an hour to get the edge i wanted on it but once sharpened it has stayed that way. I have only one complaint and that is I would have loved to have a sheath that could have been carried on the back instead of the belt sheath. this isnt a toy and shouldnt be played with as such. I use this as a machete and will take out the thickest brush. Overall I am completely satisfied with this product.
