For those of you who missed out on the legendary Blade Runner Cinefex issue, here it is in a more permenent hardcover. Contains many behind the scenes color and black and white pictures with tons of information on the making of this classic sci-fi movie from Ridley Scott. Definitely a must have!

I just received my copy and WOW!. The book was shipped perfectly (Thanks Amazon.com), and was shrink wrapped to keep it pristine, I almost hated to unwrap it, but I did and it is fantastic. I remember working part time in a video store and the manager had a copy of this book in it's paperback version, and I would thumb through and read different passages, so to have my own copy in hardcover is a definite plus! This is the book that should have been in the "briefcase" limited edition of Blade Runner, not those ridiculous "collectible" tinker toys...If you own the new DVD box set?...Get this book as well...it will complete your collection perfectly!!!...(don't forget the triple cd soundtrack as well)!!!

I got hooked on Bladerunner when it was first released, and whilst I do not consider myself to be a fanatic, I do have Future Noir, the 5 disc collectors edition (complete in the V-K case with mini spinner etc) plus a sucession of VHS and DVD versions that I have bought over the years as better releases come out. I thoroughly enjoyed The Inside Story and it is both a great time capsule and adjunct to Future Noir (which if you don't already own, then you need to).

This book is a must for any Blade Runner fan.....very technical,beautiful pics and detail based.
I just wish it was a bigger more expansive book of the entire film.
But still a GREAT BOOK!

This is the only book I have on Blade Runner as I've held off buying the Future Noir title. It's only 71 pages, but I feel like I have real sense of the making of the film. I enjoyed Syd Mead's artwork and photos from the production in addition to the text. It's a reprint from the Cinefex issue, but I think it's great to have it preserved in hardback form for the sci fi library. I am eager to buy the Future Noir title now and hope it's even better than The Inside Story.

I love cinefex . If you love cinefex, you will love this book. It is what you would expect a cinefex book to be, but this one is entirely of bladerunner. Another perk is no ads. I love the photos and behind the scene shots. Now if only the author would reprint the making of ghostbusters book.

If you love Blade Runner and special effects you will love this book, especially now that it's back in stock! Buy it!

Don't spend your money, it's a poor book, poor content, poor pics many in black and white, I'm still waiting for THE BOOK about Blade Runner.

The MOVIE was based on the BOOK "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", by Philip K. Dick published in 1968. It is worth a read if you're a fan.
