Repetitive,

Unlike the other alledged review here, this one actually says something about the music(which,by the way,is what a review OF THE SOUNDTRACK ALBUM IS SUPPOSED TO DO)..Theodore Shapiro's score for this film is loud and repetitious, sounding like the score for a rather cheapjack edition of some local circus rather than music made to highlight what was supposed to be a major motion picture..All of that needless fanfare and no real melody makes this album unattractive to the ear..Shapiro has done some fine work scoring for other films, but this particular item should be avoided unless you either have a tin ear or just have to have every soundtrack album that has ever been pressed.

Buy the video instead,

Music, with one or two exceptions, plays such a small part of this video that you'd get WAY more bang for your buck by buying the movie. I've watched the video probably six or eight times now, each time from a different level: first the music, then the dialogue (not 'hilarious' but very funny), the choreography, the plot. This is a very underrated film and a total pleasure to watch, captivating on many levels. But buy the video, not the music.Blades of Glory (Widescreen Edition)
