OK, This game, although it is supposed to be after XBlades, didn't run like the older game and it has a few things that really turned me off. FIRST: if you don't have Steam, you won't run this game. It reqiures an account at Steam to run and if you don't have one, you'll have to create one. (The game run OK with this but I have a real problem when it comes to having to ask to be able to play a game I brought!! With XBaldes I didn't.) TWO: It seems they need to double check their system requirements a bit. I have a P4 3.0 gig CPU with a NVidia GeForce 6200 with 512 Mg of RAM and 4 gigs of system RAM, and this game ran a bit sluggishly on that. The box specs call for a P 2.66 gig and 256 Mg video card. Think that maybe they need to up their system requirements a bit. THIRD: I sort of wish they had given you an ability to drop below 1024x768 on the resolutions. I have gotten a number of games to run great when the game creators allowed for the fact that maybe some poeple just may not want the highest settings possible and might select a lower resolution to get better game performance. And FOURTH: I think that in their switch to a more usual third person action/arcade game they removed some of the things that made the first game nice to play. This game has a more, how do I say, "down-to earth" feel and isn't as much fun to play. It's not a bad game, but I think the first one was better. Update: 1/17/13: There's one thing about this game that really makes me angry. It's the "Rewind Time" option to get out of trouble when you run into the Slasher. You just don't have time to open the doors in time to escape from him. It can be done but it sure is HARD!!! The other thing is that this is a Steam game which means NO EASY MODE!!!! I'm all for creating a challange for gamers, but I always start out in easy mode so I've got some chance in getting thru the game!! But this lack of an Easy Mode in Steam games really gets to me!!
