Intense heat, great flavor.

:^D Probably not for beginners but for the avid chili-head, this stuff is amazing!

I took it and dabbed a toothpick in it and it was an instant light.

If you are a beginner, seriously think twice about using this as you would a tabasco or any type of louisianna hot sauce.. After having this sauce, those seriously don't even feel like they have any spice at all. Take the top of your finger, touch it to the top of the bottle, and your mouth will be burning for at least 10 minutes. This sauce has a great flavor, and really meshes well with other sauces / foods. I enjoy it thoroughly!! (It's really good on pizza :))

The reviews for this sauce don't seem to agree on just how hot it is, and that's an unfortunate consequence of people having vastly different tolerance levels. To give a bit of context, I'm kind of a beginner to intermediate chilihead, having only previously eaten chilis at around 30,000 SHU (which I found to be pretty hot), so I was a bit nervous about trying this stuff, what with all the dramatic labeling.

Well, don't worry about that. If you like hot stuff and have a decent tolerance, this is a great sauce that you can apply directly to your food. I poured a considerable amount on my scrambled eggs this morning, and didn't regret it. It was like a return to the old days before I had any tolerance at all and I used to put tobasco on my eggs. I actually had a sauce I could pour on them that would give me a good, pleasant heat.

If you're not sure, take it slow, but I found pretty quickly that I didn't need to be that ginger with the stuff. It's just about the perfect heat as a sauce to pour directly on food, and it has a great habanero flavor (it's the second habanero based sauce I've tried and they both tasted similar, so I'm assuming it's the habanero... I've not yet tried a raw habanero, though that experience is on my "to do" list)

Anyway, this is one I think I'll be keeping in stock from now on. Highly recommend.

This sauce, while extremely hot, do not sacrifice overall flavor to do so. It is a tasty addition to any dish that you feel could put more hair on your chest. The heat lingers with you as you eat, settling in the back of your throat. I will be buying this sauce again and exploring Blair's other offerings.

I'm a bit of a chilehead and have had many different hot sauces but to date, Blair's After Death is one of my all-time favorite hot sauces. It's not so hot where I can't use a good amount of it, but hot enough where I still notice it.

While an extract sauce, I can't specifically taste extract and is a great tasting hot sauce. Additionally, it's flavor goes nicely on just about anything I can put it on. It's a great hot sauce to put on a bowl of rice, but goes equally well with on wings, chicken, burgers, or fish. After Death is basically all the flavor of Blair's Original Death but about twice as hot.

I bought this sauce as a gift for a friend that puts hot sauce on everything. He was thrilled! Blair's is a big name in the hot sauce market according to my friend. (He was impressed that I cared enough to know, which I didn't! lol :)) This is a great gift for the hot sauce lover in your life.

My first experience with After Death was at a dinner a co-worker invited me to. His spouse, from Indonesia, makes out-of-this world Asian food. My friend asked if I liked hot sauce, and since I'm from Texas, I said of course. He brought out the After Death bottle and I was amused by the little skull key chain, thinking, how cute but we'll see. I have been eating all kinds of peppers for most my life and considered myself something of an expert on them. I have eaten peppers in Africa and Central and South America, and I considered everybody who showed interest in peppers as a novice. So I opened the bottle and, in a show of pure "look at tough I am" idiocy, "Mr. Macho" proceeded to pour his usual dosage onto his plate of delicate Asian food. Almost immediately, I began to sweat....from my scalp down to my neck. My eyes teared over, my nose ran unstoppably, and I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom where I used half a box of tissue and about thirty minutes to compose myself. My hosts asked if I was alright and I timidly whimpered back "sure thing!". I thought I had a very high tolerance level, but After Death is hands down the hottest sauce I've had in my 59 years. A tablespoon in a regular chili recipe is about right to make it 5-alarm. Just a few drops on a regular plate of whatever is sufficient, so this product is very economical, too. Now, I know there are people with finer taste-bud sensitivies, but this stuff is so hot that discerning a flavor---at least right away---usually isn't the first consideration. Proceed with caution, but I love this stuff. If you give it as gift, you should include a warning label to the receiver. If you administer this sauce to someone as a prank, you should be ashamed of yourself and could probably be prosecuted. This product is for the fully initiated, and not for the tinkerers.

Its hard to believe this isn't even the hottest hot sauce. I've only added a drop of it here and there and it almost made whatever impossible to eat. I'm not a big fan of its taste so I prefer to use it in chili to add hotness but it over powered the hot wings I made. But dont take my word on taste cause thats only preference and I'm going on memory of when my taste buds were still alive
