Blaming Our Genes: Why Mental Illness Can't Be Inherited [Paperback]

Ty Colbert (Author)

Available from these sellers.

Book Description

June 1, 2001
No genetic evidence: after searching the whole genome over and over for years, not one single gene has ever been found that causes any mental illness. How then have scientists convinced the public and fooled themselves that the inheritance model of mental illness is valid? This book tells you both how and why?

Editorial Reviews

Review

Colbert takes on the biological and genetic theories of psychiatric conditions, showing that they have little evidence in their favor. -- Jay Joseph, Psy. D.

Dr. Colbert has once again exposed the fraud and foolishness of the biopsychiatric empire. -- Kevin F. McCready, Ph.D.

For anyone who has ever questioned the idea that there is a "gene" for mental illness, read this book. -- Jonathan Leo, Ph.D.
