Little Jack's first album is clearly his best -- though this doesn't mean his subsequent recordings haven't been superb. Any album that can advocate a military takeover of Switzerland, or recollect the childhood terrors of the circus's arrival in town, is awfully clever in my mind. Funny, original, down-home and great musicianship to boot, this is a personal favorite to enjoy over morning coffee. Keep 'em comin', Little Jack!
