for artists like me, the paper i write on is very important,this journal is simply the best...i am so grateful for the people who came up with this idea, i treasure my journal and go everywhere with it, im purchasing 2 more today..

I purchased the book for an almost ten year old. She carries it with her everywhere & says that it is helping her get to know herself. It is your own best friend, herself. She likes writing on the black pages with pastel gel pens & keeps her interested. And not to forget that it made me cool for giving it to her.

This journal book looked like a neat idea, but it's in reality totally worthless. The pen doesn't write--oh, it writes for about one word, if you're lucky, and then stops; wait a few hours, and it may decide to go for another word and a half--totally frustrating. The paper of the journal is black, so if the special pen that's included doesn't work, you might as well just throw the book into the garbage. Which is where mine ended up, after spending a couple days trying to get the pen to write on the first page.

This was a total waste of money. Usually Im very satisfied with the products I purchase but this was the exception. The pages stick together and dont have lines. Besides that it's much too small, the picture looks way bigger than the actual size. The part where it says Journal is on a pink stick on paper (its not even silver) and the cover wont close properly, when you close it, it stays only half way closed. I wouldnt even buy it for a pre teen, much less would I but give this to a teenager (as it was my intention) Needless to say, this is over priced. It shouldn't cost more than [$$$}, it's very tacky. Looked better on picture than in reality. One more thing: THE PEN DOESNT WRITE....AT ALL!!!! Seriously, this item isn't worth the money you pay.

I can't remeber if the pen worked or not because I went out and bought many colored pens to use. As an artist Iloved this journal due to the black pages and no lines. I use it almost every week and have filled in two other copies of this already. It's great to record tarot readings for your self and for art work!

it was a nice design on the book and it is nice that it has so much room and it has room for you to draw and scribble or just play tic -tac-toe-.you can write storis like barbie meets godzilla or your favorite memories or your favorite days!

I loved owning the journal for some reason the white on black instead of the treaditional black on white was inspirering and kept me writting
