This slide/cover slip package is exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, clean glass, well-packaged by manufacturer (and by the seller, I might add, who shipped it very quickly). If you're in the habit of washing and re-using your slides and covers, you'll be happy to know that they're also durable if handled with care.

I kept buying slides, not realizing they did not come with cover slips, which, to me, should go hand in hand. I finally lucked into finding this combination pack of cover slips and slides, and they should keep me in business for a very long time.

I ordered this same 'sku' twice. In jan 27 and sept 17 (both 2013). My first order the microscope slides were from the 'premiere' brand and were nearly perfect (used about 50%) while the cover slides had about 20 broken ones, and the plastic case holding them was also broken.

The second order had everything wrapped in one package and nothing broken. This time the microscope slides are from "Karter Scientific", but these so far have been horrible. Under a microscope there are bubbles everywhere (about 10 microns diameter, but probably much more than 1000 in 40x zoom), while other slides (from other end of the box) have damage and smudges on them.

Massive different in quality in my two orders.

I was happy with my purchases, it was too the point. exactly what i wanted, exactly what i expected, no frills, no thrills, just a 3 in. long box of 72 slides and a 1in. squared box of covers.
with all that said i was slightly disappointed that i wasnt given a box for used slides but you can buy those at any hoby shop or even make one.
It should not sway you if all you need is slides and covers for a reasonable price to

The slides are ok. Most were somewhat dirty and the edges are not cut with the cleanest cutter, but if you are just throwing on weird stuff for the grandkids to look at they work well.

I kept seeing plant/ fungus like structures in my specimens. Really believed I am seeing unique biological lives then on control I saw them too! So I started looking at slides. Large slides were relatively clean but when I observed the cover slips filth and junk started to show up. This cover slips have no scientific value and are wortless.

A good deal. The slides were clean but the coverslips are quite dirty. I don't know what other's experiences have been with coverslips but this is the second coverslip product I've bought here and I always get dirty ones. Even rubbing alcohol won't clean them completely. Still, for the price this is a good deal and works fine for general work.

If I could give it no stars I would but thats not an option. This came in a foil type wrapper, not a box, I had to rip open the foil to inspect the item. I was going to give as a gift but looks very tacky.in a ripped foil wrap. A person should receive what is pictured .

Nothing was broken. The cover slips are a very thin glass so be careful not to cut yourself. However, I have put no more effort avoiding a cut with these glass slides than I have with school laboratory plastic ones and still haven't been injured. The cover slips are perfect as well. Open the package on a table, though! It is vacuumed tight so it might startle you a bit when opening. It certainly startled me. Magnificent packaging! I know if I had tried opening it standing up (as I almost did) I would have certainly dropped the package. Dropping it might cause a lot of damage. So, you yourself a favor, open the solver package, very carefully with a small puncture at first on a table. The glass cover slips come in their own separate plastic case protected by a special paper. I double counted and counted exactly 72 slides. I did not count the cover slips for obvious reasons but I have faith they are all there. I am VERY happy to have 72 slides of this condition with glass slips of equal quality to match for such an unbeatable price!
