About the Author

Everyday Press, Inc. is a family owned and operated business interested in promoting reading. In December 2001, our two year old son watched one night while a bus got stuck in the snow outside his window. A tow truck came to the rescue and got stuck too! Finally, a snow plow came and saved the bus. For days after, Zachary would ask us to repeat the story of the Stuck Bus. It intrigued him so, that we decided to write a story, enhanced with clip art, so that he could read it as often as he wanted. That story became a board book the rest is history!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, what a nice product! November 26, 2005
I got the 4 book pack for about $20. My (3) 8 year old kids and I made custom books. The templates were nice, but we did freehand drawings about our vacation with drawings and text. We really had a ball making them and they have become wonderful keepsakes that the kids are showing to everyone.

What an innovative and fun craft for young kids and even experienced readers. We literally had hours of fun.

The books were of high quality rigid glossy white cardboard. The kit came with an easy to use template set up for Word and even with extra labels. We just pressed the labels onto the book pages and were ready to go.

A cool item at a great price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea February 13, 2008

Really nice way to put whatever you want in a book that your kids will have a hard time destroying. The labels are a bit smaller than the pages, so mostly a child chewing on the corners won't be chewing on the part with the label. So, no worries about getting little bits of paper in the mouth, or ink, or ruining the content of the book. I wish the instructions had mentioned this feature. The first one I made, I put a few of the labels closer to the edges and the corners got chewed off and the ink ran.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for!!!! March 30, 2010

I made a family picture book for my baby and he's now 1 year old and still looks at the book. It's so much better than the high priced books you can order from all those on-line photo storage places because it's disposable. What I mean by that is it's cheap and easy to re-create when it get damaged (and it probably will if it's in the hands, or should I say mouths, of infants). The pictures got a little wet from spit-up and slobber and ran some, but who cares...I can make another one!!
