...so a Blanket was perfect. I was able to listen to this EP several times over. Each hearing was like discovering something in the movie "Usual Suspects"...there was always something new and subtle, like a momentary off-time arrangement of vocals and percussion, that made each song grow on me more and more. The quality of Derek's voice is balanced: sweetly melodic and down to earth. I can't wait until they come out with an LP and are justly recognized by those with lots of money...of course, without selling out.

I took a chance on this buy and i'm so glad i did! There's really some amazing playing going on here-- All these songs are beautiful--perfect for a long drive on a summer night --can't wait to hear a full length release from Blanket--It hasn't left my cd changer yet...

Great melodies, catchy songs!, February 12, 1999

The album sounds really cool - some of the freshest music I've heard in a while. Watch out - Summer Dress is really catchy. Know My Name has a great driving rythm. I would definitely pick up this CD - it's worth listening to. I have a feeling these guys aren't gonna stay in the underground SF music scene for long.
