The bed frame does not have locks to secure the legs into place. The frame is weak metal. The mattress was not bad. It would have been better if it had tags to secure it to the frame. The mattress was narrower than a twin size but was adequate size. However .... my son slept on this for three days and the frame bent in two places. My son weighs about 160 lbs and the bed claims to hold a person over 300 lbs. Don't believe it.
Amazon agreed to take the bed back but that's where the true problems began. The box was damaged in shipping to me ... perhaps the reason for the damage - who knows? I can't return this without a box. Getting a box and shipping this large item was so difficult. Amazon initially required that I use the post office to return the bed. The post office doesn't sell boxes this size so I went to a shipping store. They, too, did not have a large enough box. I called Amazon who told me to have the bed wrapped in cardboard and go back to the post office. Post office would not accept it. I take the bed back home and call Amazon again. Amazon says - OK, use UPS and we'll pay for the shipping back. I take the bed to UPS. They have a box and are willing to ship this back BUT they will not accept the Amazon label and I have to fork out over $100. The bed cost me $123. Even though Amazon agreed to pay, this is ridiculous. So I take the bed back home again. I call Amazon and speak to another rep who says they will drop ship a box to me and then have UPS pick up. But, she says the box will have to be delivered to an alternative address. I call again ....getting the idea....? Horrible experience. Literally - no exaggeration, after 3 hours and 17 minutes on the phone with Amazon, I speak to a rep who agrees to give me the credit and the bed can be destroyed.

Transaction went like a dream! Everything went great! Couldn't of asked for a better bed... I have been looking for something that I could use for overnight guests that is both comfortable and portable. Most folding beds that I had researched got low customer ratings because they were flimsy and uncomfortable for adult sleepers. I have had two adults use this bed (one a male well over 200 pounds), and both said it was very comfortable--and believe me if it wasn't they would let me know (I did however use a mattress topper to add a bit more cushion). The bed requires no special bedding--just plain old twin sheets. Also, the bed is extremely easy to set up and it folds up small enough that I was able to stash it in my guest room closet. I couldn't be happier with this product.

The springs were a bit creaky when I tested it by lying down on it. The middle was a bit soft, but the 13 year who slept on it said it was very comfortable. I added another foam mattress for more support, but think it could use a wood board underneath the mattress for real support. I paid more for the thicker mattress and extra wide bed thinking it would be more comfortable. The foam mattress by itself is thick enough, but for real comfort for someone heavier, tighter springs or more support would be better.

Small box, great big bed.

With 4 legs and a 3" mattress it is strong and comfortable. wider then most other folding beds I found on line, strong but fold to under 12" thick.

very quick delivery and no tools needed.
